The Middle East Atkins Civil Engineering team is currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team in Dubai -. Responsibilities Ground Engineering and geotechnical design including soil-structure interaction. Design of civil engineering structures including underground structures, tunnels, shafts and foundations, for infrastructure, highways and rail projects. Support production of design solutions from outline briefs, correctly interpret data and effectively communicate to others Preparation of project design reports Liaison with clients, stakeholders, other professional bodies and contractors Compliance with Atkins quality, safety and environmental procedures You will be supported towards a relevant internationally recognised professional institution (i.e. ICE) and provided with all the support infrastructure required in order to achieve professional status, both financially and through work experience & structured training. Requirements Minimum degree classification of 2:1 (i.e. 3.2/4 GPA or above) in Civil or Structural Engineering. A further specialist (such as a MEng or Masters degree) would be an advantage No more than two (2.0) years relevant work experience Member of appropriate professional institution(s) or working towards.
