Jebel AliPart-timeDescription: Duties & Responsibilities: Report directory to the operations manager for daily warehouse & office operation Responsible for logistics arrangements on all incoming and outgoing shipmentsWork with respective parties/logistics service provider to ensure all documents and approvals obtained prior to each shipmentEnsure timely report & clearance of shipments through customMaintain a clean and accurate inventory record Receive and examine incoming goods, including quantity and quality cross-checksParticipate in repacking process which takes place in the warehouses, ensure timely delivery of supplies required, and liaise with service provider for labor and supply arrangements if neededPrepare and reload goods according to customer’s orders, to ensure shipping cartons are loaded properly and are fit for long distance transportation. All outgoing cargo must be clearly labeled according to customer orderContact various vendors for product sourcing, carry out business negotiation on quality, quantity, pricing, packing, etc.Prepare shipping documents, including invoice, packing list, shipping order, bill of lading, airway bill, custom clearance documents, insurance policies, etc.Proactively communicate to suppliers and customers for shipment arrangements / updates, etc.Always keep the warehouse clean and tidyAny other ad hoc duties assigned Skills & Qualifications: Experience with international shipping and stock management environment MaleBachelor’s degree or equivalentMinimum 5-year experience working in import & export industry, in particular in a free zone environment Knowledge of Dubai - Trade portal for import and export custom clearance is a mustAttention to detail, with proactive working attitude and patience in work, can prioritize work with no supervisionFlexibility in working hours and travel upon requestCapable to work under pressure Excellent communication skill, maintain active and timely communication with all stakeholdersSelf-motivated, leadership skills, team player, closely collaborate with teammates & good customer service skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office suits, including, Word, PowerPoint and Excel & its formulas, and other software as requiredFluent English language skillArabic speaking preferred, but not necessaryKnowledge of operating hand pallet trolley, forklift, banding machines & closureU.A.E.
